Loss, influence, torrid love affairs and absolute service to the elders all come together to form the Seneschal of Silver Spring, Maryland. Victoria came to Silver Spring for the Christie’s Auction on the behest of her sire. She was sent to work for Gregory Martinelli, a Ventrue in the area. She did serve and serve well until he gave his soul to Selvek. But that would not be the first or the last person Victoria would lose.
First she lost the ghoul she brought with her by the name of Jerry, in a tragic car explosion. She was overheard saying that he had been with her since she was alive. Then came an age old story of a rabble Brujah and an uptight Ventrue. You know the story boy meets girl. Girl hates boy. Boy bothers girl. Girl finds she loves boy. Boy killed by Elias Spade. Next was Jack. And it’s said that he was nothing but a replacement for Max. But shortly after asking Victoria to marry him, to whom she agreed, he was shot in the head by one Kristoff Garrison. But that would not be the last we hear of Jack. He would later return as his soul had unfinished business. He would give his soul to trap Keba. Dave would be next, or so we thought. He was pronounced dead, but later he would return as if nothing had happened. Stacia would also be taken from her, by the Sabbat and then later killed by Kristoff Garrison. It would seem that she has yet to learn her lesson as her and the sheriff seem to be spending a lot of time together.
Victoria may have a horrible time in the game of love and friendship, but she excels in the game of influence. It is speculated that there isn’t a venue that Victoria doesn’t have a finger in.
Loyalty to Clan Ventrue and the Camarilla is how the Seneschal works. She went even so far as to walk away from Paloma DiFranco when she stepped away from the Camarilla. All would say is she cannot stay, she cannot leave the Camarilla. And with that Victoria walked away from Prince DiFranco, but not before lashing out at Tanner. No one knows why the Seneschal holds such a grudge against the Scourge. Perhaps it was a whirlwind love affair gone awry, or perhaps it’s nothing more than the supposed crumbling mind of an overly pressured Kindred. |
