Acknowledgment of Terms of Play:

Please take into account while playing in this game, that you will be exposed to a variety of situations that may prove hazardous, including but not limited to: dark stairways, slippery concrete, or insect bites. Know that we do Not have carte blanche permission to use this location for LARP. We are allowed access to this space for our game, because of the LARP communities sterling reputation in Carlsbad. Please know, that should you hurt yourself and decide to take legal action against the city of Carlsbad, we will lose our game site.

One of the many terms that I have acquiesced to, thus allowing us to play here, is that we will be neat, clean, and leave the location better then we found it. If maintenance reports to the city that there is ANY refuse, cigarette/cigar butts, graffiti, vandalism or anything related thereto; we loose our site.

Also note that we are located across the street from year ‘round residents. I have alerted those residents to our presence here, and they are in possession of my cell phone number. If we disturb those residents we may well indeed loose our site. This means, NO LOUD MUSIC OF ANY VARIETY! Although MET is about role-playing and being in character, please remember that your character would most likely not scream and make a huge fuss as it would call attention to themselves (risking the masquerade). I request you keep it low.

If you need to use a restroom, please proceed to the shell station across the street, or to the Denny’s a few blocks down the road. I (and the city) will consider ANY disregard for this request; vandalism. You will be dismissed from game.

We are the first LARP to have access to this space. I have done a lot of tedious work to procure this location. If you at any point jeopardize our game location, you will be either suspended from play, or removed altogether from the game. If you break any of the rules of MET, you will be punished accordingly, up to dismissal from the game. We cannot have one player ruin the fun for everyone else, and I will not have it.

I will encourage the city to take legal action against you should you commit any vandalism of any kind on their, or neighboring properties.

If you invite a guest to the game, or you know that your friends will be dropping by, Inform them of the terms of entering game site. Consider them your ward. Retribution for their violation of the rules will fall upon your head. And we will not pull any punches for ignorance.

This is not a contract, simply a signed acknowledgment. By signing below, you are welcome to play "Fractured Thrones". Failure to sign this form equals failure to be admitted to game. You need only sign this once, and we will retain this original, should we need to remind you of your commitment.
