Olde Towne Tavern
Tamara Bircham’s Pub.

The Olde Towne Tavern has been around since 1903, the building is listed in the Maryland Historic places register. Tamara Bircham has owned the pub since the 1980’s. It has recently been re-modeled.

The Olde Towne Tavern has been the main rack for the Malkavians in Olde Towne Gaithersburg for a very long time, and they all consider it part of their night-to-night unlives, and treat (defend) it accordingly.

While Olde Towne is the personal Domain of Primogen Tamara Bircham, at least five Malkavians claim Haven in the confines of the small area, and all other Lunatics are welcome there.

The Olde Towne Tavern has an upstairs balcony area called the “Crystal Lounge.” It is here, up a flight of brass lined stairs, behind velvet ropes, that the kindred may gather freely. The Tavern has been host to numerous small gatherings and events. Besides the occasional good natured bar fight, true violence has only broken out three times. One notable instance was during a Sabbat siege, where the Malkavians used the building as a choke point, and sprung a trap. The other two were resolved in short order by the Malkavians and involved other Kindred guests.

An excerpt from the NPC Files:
Not all ventures undertaken by the diligent, hard-working Primogen have fallen to such infamy though. Tamara, with help from the local Malkavians claiming Havens in Olde Towne, has opened up a rather prosperous pub with a small kitchen. The Olde Towne Tavern is a three story high building (one of the tallest in Olde Towne) which includes a main floor, a VIP lounge in the back, an upper level (with another VIP section, roped off) and a modest outdoor patio for dining and relaxing. The structure boasts its own distillery, producing the highly successful; "Ambrosia Ale," and the small batch favorite, "Bathory Brew," which is gaining quite a following. The press kit claims the hint of "blood" that customers taste in the oatmeal stout based concoction is: "A combination of superior fermentation processes, and specially designed, one of a kind, iron, and copper equipment."

…At least, that is what the other Kindred hope.
