When it had come to their attention that Ashton had been studying blood magic outside the auspices of the clan, a punishment was handed down.

Ashton fled, and cashed in every boon he had or could barter for. Gerard Hosessie, the Voudon priest gave him sanctuary. A deal was struck between the Tremere and Gerard. He does not use Ashton as a bargaining chip, the Tremere don’t kill the both of them. The fine print in this contract is of much hushed speculation in the halls of Elysium.
